The Dutch print media and textiles manufacturer and distributor’s new product is called Basic Flag 110 NQ.
Matte van Aalderen, commercial director at TTS, said: “We had a flag that we supplied for many years, which is quite a good flag, but the only little bit of a downside was the print-through. With different knitting, we have now managed to improve it, and the print-through is really outstanding.
“What you want is that the colours are as bright on the back side and the front side. So you print it on one side, and then you have the print-through – which the ink is going through the flag – and then it’s as visible on both sides.”
The company is also showing a sustainable flag made from 60% recycled yarn.
Its sustainability offering also includes recycled white strip, which is produced from 100% recycled strip. With this initiative, TTS said it could now reuse strip – a material previously challenging to recycle – without compromising on quality.
Also being shown are blockout materials such as Blackback UV Recycled, made from recycled yarns, and Greyback Mono 340 FR, which the company said was easier to recycle thanks to its mono material.
A raft of innovations related to the TTS range of sublimation and protection papers, screen printing, and DTF are also on the stand.
Fespa Global Print Expo runs until Friday (9 May) at Messe Berlin.
