Kyocera has boosted its document printing portfolio with the introduction of a string of new products following the launch of its first production printer.

New versions of its Taskalfa document systems have been launched for both A3 and A4 requirements, with the 7353ci and 8353ci accommodating A3 at various speeds while the smaller 352ci serves the needs of A4 clients.

While the desk-size 352ci is more directly designed for office environments, the two larger machines are designed for higher, faster throughput as part of more demanding workflows and document production.

Kyocera UK product marketing manager Trevor Maloney said: “The Taskalfa 7353ci and Taskalfa 8353ci are the latest innovative additions to our range of Taskalfa devices. Like all other products across the Taskalfa range, these two models have been expertly engineered to print high volumes while ensuring the quality of any outputs are not compromised.

“However, what really sets them apart from the rest of the market is their high print resolution, which provides top-class printing in both monochrome and colour.

“The launch of these new models is another very exciting development in our Taskalfa range, with multiple advanced features that will appeal to organisations of any size. In particular, their quality, durability and efficiency, which are at the heart of all our new product designs, make them ideal.”

The 7535ci can print at speeds of 73ppm black and white and 65ppm colour while the 8535ci prints at 83ppm black and white and 70ppm colour (an output capacity up to 30,000 sheets/month), with both reaching print resolutions of 1,200dpi.

The introduction of the three new machines follows Kyocera’s first move into the production print market last month which saw the launch of its Taskalfa Pro 15000C cutsheet inkjet printer, capable of 600dpi resolution at speeds up to 150ppm A4. Stocks of the device are available as of this month.
