First-timer Taimes unveils four Fespa launches

The TR5300SD uses KM heads

Taimes has brought four machines to its debut Fespa, including a 5.3m super-wide, double-sided roll-to-roll printer capable of 120sqm/hr production.

The TR5300SD, along with its 3.2m sibling, the TR3300SD, is equipped with eight colour channels and uses Konica Minolta KM1024-series UV printheads in six or 13 picolitres.

Also on display at Taimes’ stand (5.2-B70) are the manufacturer’s 2.44x1.22m TF2513 UV flatbed and 1.22x0.6m hybrid printers, the TF2513 and TF1361 respectively.

The latter also capable of printing to bottles with a jig, thanks to its adjustable print carriage.
The TF2513 can also be fitted with an optional plasma processor that smoothes out glass, acrylic and metal surfaces for better adhesion as the carriage runs over the substrate.

Taimes chief executive Bolie Ma said: “When people look at the big machine, they say ‘Wow, China can make big machines like this!’ We want to show that to our customers.

“It’s our first time at Fespa, and it’s a very good show.”
