Bouchiba: status is global recognition of CMYUK's expertise

CMYUK is celebrating something of a coup after becoming the first reseller worldwide to be awarded EFI Premier Partner status for its Fiery for Display Graphics.

To qualify for approval as a Premier Partner resellers have to attain a range of standards including specialist sales and technical training, as well as a certification process covering Fiery installation, training and support.

The programme is a new initiative from EFI.

Amira Bouchiba, manager of CMYUK’s Training Academy, said the reseller was proud and delighted to be the first to achieve the rating, which had involved a financial and time commitment from CMYUK.

“The Premier Partnership programme affords CMYUK official global recognition of our expertise with the Fiery Digital Graphics software portfolio,” she said.

“Being accredited as an EFI Premier Partner ensures that customers understand that the service and support they are given from CMYUK is the absolute best they can hope to receive.”

CMYUK has a demonstration and training centre at Battlefield near Shrewsbury, while its sales office is in Reading.

EFI Fiery for Display Graphics global sales director Chris Schowalter commented: “It is no surprise to us that CMYUK is the first to achieve this highest-level accreditation for Fiery Display Graphics Products.

“They tick all the boxes and have been a trusted partner to us for many years, doing a great job supporting all our customers in the UK and Ireland.

He described CMYUK as “proactive and totally on the ball with all the latest product updates and information”.

“EFI has many happy and loyal customers, thanks to them,” he added.

CMYUK gains a number of business benefits as a result of the Premier Partner status, including qualified sales leads from EFI, access to Premier Partner support materials, and a listing on EFI’s website as a preferred distributor.

CMYUK is a longstanding proponent of Fiery digital frontends and print servers, and has been supplying the systems since it started selling Vutek wide-format printers some 17 years ago.
