Yell Group is "actively looking" for a new head of publishing to oversee its Yellow Pages and Business Pages directories.
The candidate, a direct replacement for Richard Bolton who left in the early spring, will be charged with working with the groups printers and pre-press suppliers, as well as managing the contract for the delivery of the directories.
Industry sources say the job involves handling an 80m print budget. Yells biggest contract, the 27.5m-run Yellow Pages, is held by US-owned RR Donnelley in Flaxby.
The group began full-colour colour trials in three of its 78 Yellow Pages editions late last year, but head of external relations Richard Duggleby said it was too early to comment on whether they had been successful.
