The black-and-white 2101 can produce 101 pages a minute and builds on the Xerox 1010 machine.
It has even greater finishing flexibility and more powerful production-level features, said UK monochrome brand manager Martyn Train.
The 2101 copier-printer costs 59,000 and has recommended volumes of between 60,000 and 350,000 impressions a month. A copier-only model costs 45,000.
Xerox is also aiming to fight against forgers with kit that could be used in top-end production. Its New York experts have come up with the Glossmark variable gloss effect, which can run in standard laser printers.
Experts believe that within five years it could be used in printers as fast as 200 pages a minute or as slow as 20 pages.
