Xerox is undertaking a review of the graphic arts exhibition calendar and will not have a stand of its own at Northprint.
The company had optioned a 166m2 space at the show.
"We are looking at our budgets and have to make sure that we are spending money on events that we know will definitely give us good prospects its good discipline to have to justify what you do and why," said marketing manager Peter Vincent.
"To be blunt, we didnt get much out of the last Northprint, but I really hope its a success this year and we will be there in some shape or other."
Vincent added that Xerox was in "pretty heavy negotiations" about its Ipex 2002 presence, currently on the plans as a 5,000m2 area in hall 3, one of the new digital halls. "Theres no doubt well be at Ipex with a strong presence," he said.
