Xerox and Mtivity sign marketing deal

Xerox has signed a pan-European deal with software firm Mtivity as part of a big marketing agreement.

The firms will co-promote Mtivity's marketing software as part of Xerox Global Services' products for big companies and public-sector clients.

"Large organisations want efficiencies in all areas of document management," said Xerox service technology manager Marc Mitchaux. Xerox would ensure faster delivery, higher quality and reduced costs, he added.

He continued: "We chose Mtivity's workflow system for its functionality and ease of use. It is quick to implement clients and suppliers can collaborate easily ensuring projects are streamlined from start to finish."

Mtivity chief executive Mat Atkinson said: "Cost savings are largely through reductions in transaction costs and time wasted in admin. Where a project would have taken 16 steps to produce we have got it down to six or seven."

Mtivity's clients include Egg and Sony Ericsson.
