Under the terms of the multi-million pound contract, DHL will supply Wyndeham with freight services, SameDay and NextDay parcel services, and NextDay pallet deliveries.

Wyndeham Press Group chief operating officer Roy Kingston (pictured right) said: "We are delighted to award DHL the contract for providing freight services to the Group. DHL is very experienced in moving time-sensitive material and flexible enough to ensure we meet the changing requirements of our customers."

A fleet of 44 tonne tractor units and trailers, plus a number of rigid vehicles, will be strategically placed across Wyndeham's print sites.

Kingston said: "By optimising vehicles around the country, we can reduce our costs per pallet mile and, by reducing the numbers of vehicles on the road, make a further contribution to the environment."

DHL will also provide on-site administration and management to coordinate all of Wyndeham's logistic requirements. A full livery service will complement the partnership.
