Woodward was a high-profile figure at the Huntingdon print management/ information logistics business and helped it secure two major accolades in the past year: the Human Resources magazine Excellence in Change Management and Overall awards for 2001.
Woodward said that now the firm had completed its merger with former rival Tactica, she was ready to do her next big change programme and is looking for other opportunities.
Prior to joining Astron, Woodward was operations director at BPC (now Polestar), where she once tried to recruit Astron chief executive David Mitchell, who was then with St Ives. Mitchell then went on to form Astron in 1996 and approached Woodward to join him.
I think Ill stay in the printing industry, I do love it. Ive been in the industry since 1986 and Ive had five great years with Astron, Woodward said.
