CFH managing director Nigel Cruickshank said Toptree aimed to fill a gap in the financial sector of the paper market, for use in credit card or bank statements, and that it represented a credible alternative to recycled paper.
"We are working with WWF, and are about to become a member of the WWF95+ Group as part of the new initiative," said Cruickshank.
First introduced in 1997, Toptree, through the Woodland Trust, has planted 30,000 trees directly as a result of the initiative.
