Webmart joins Onsite Insights

Webmart has become the latest firm to take part in a commercially-run, shared best practice programme.

The print manager will play host to visiting firms, sharing its trade secrets and covering topics such as creativity and innovation, inspiring people, marketing and developing supply chain excellence.

Onsite Insights is a private firm established after the government scrapped its own host-visit programme IUKE, when it consolidated the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) business support services two years ago.

According to Onsite Insights, IUKE helped participating businesses to increase sales and profits by 100m per year during its 25-year existence.

Webmart managing director Simon Biltcliffe (pictured) discovered the programme on the DTIs Business Link website and, after visiting three firms, decided to register as a host.

The Bicester-based firm will host alternate service-based and manufacturing-based visits from September.
