The company is currently beta-testing a new online offering called YourWebTrader.com that builds upon the software engine it has developed for print procurement.
"It's using the same principles as print, but the customer can procure whatever they need," explained Rob Clark, sales director at the Bicester-based business.
"We bespoke it to the customer’s individual needs – we’ve done all the legwork on print which is extremely complicated."
The system is currently being trialled by two clients – a Formula 1 team and a racecourse operator.
The frontend is branded to the customer’s own business and the client company can add, categorise and benchmark its own specific suppliers to create a bespoke procurement database.
If the testing period proves successful, Webmart intends to license the offering to a wider client base.
