Inspired by motor rescue service organisation the AA, the idea results from a meeting between Heidelberg-trained engineer Dennis Cullen and Tyke Rollers managing director Carl Slingsby. "This easy-to-get hold-of emergency service seems a logical service to offer the industry," said Slingsby.
Tyke Rollers will arrange for engineers to pinpoint and solve roller problems as fast as possible.
Services provided will include the rectifying of rollers, alteration of settings and performing checks to ensure machines are running perfectly.
Huddersfield-based Tyke Rollers has been a supplier of rollers for engineers and primarily the secondhand machinery industry for the past 10 years.
