TSO will provide a complete, managed information dissemination service, handling the design, layout, printing and distribution of all online and print material, including reports, newsletters and yearbooks.
It will also be charged with improving the online ordering process as well as post-sales customer service and support.
IiP had previously done all the publishing in-house but TSO was selected based on its track record in managing commercial publications for a wide range of public and private sector organisations. These included the Office of Government Commerce, the Commission for Racial Equality and the Driving Standards Authority.
TSO chief executive Iain Burns said the deal was a good example of how organisations were beginning to recognise that information must be managed and structured in an effective way.
