Industry sources suggest that the magazine printer is due to make an announcement to its 200 staff on Monday (1 March).
Last month managing director Bob Pitts left to join New Jarrold Printing and the company is still searching for a replacement.
The company made 30 staff redundant in June last year after experiencing softer demand in the magazine market and also lost a number of important contracts in the same year.
In April 2003 sales director Terry Wells and finance director John Hill departed at the same time as two of the companys biggest clients, Emap and Future Publishing, announced they were pulling contracts from the company in a general review of their printing arrangements. [PrintWeek 17 April 2003].
TPL operates a Heidelberg M600 and 48pp M4000 along with two older 32pp webs. The company was unavailable for comment as the PrintWeek bulletin went to press.
