Think Ambient looking for printers for static substrate

Consumables supplier Think Ambient has said it is looking for printers to work alongside it with its Clings product.

Clings is a substrate that sticks to most surfaces without the need for an adhesive using static electricity.

Think Ambient supplies Clings in the UK to customers such as L'Oreal, Boots and independent pubs, as well as providing printers with the material to service their own customers.

However, the company said that many printers are unaware of the product, even when customers ask for it and it wants to increase its outlets.

Marketing assistant Sarah Rogers said: "Sometimes a customer will say I have heard of this product that sticks to surfaces and printers think they mean PVC, so we want to get the awareness out there that the product is available. We want to let printers know we would love to work with them."
