The Fingerprint Group specialises in retail point-of-sale, with customers including airport duty free firm Alpha Retail.
Its personalisation e-commerce front-end is a good fit for us, said Documedia managing director Mark OConnor.
The 1.8m turnover companys 15 staff and equipment will transfer to Documedias London office in the City.
Documedia paid 80,000 for the company, with a further 175,000 payable over the next four years subject to it meeting revenue targets.
Fingerprint managing director David Renouf, a veteran of Westward Communications the group that Documedia emerged from joined Documedia as divisional director for digital in the summer.
