The company, part of the TH Brickell Group, went for the KH66-6KTL model with full automation.
Blackmore prints a range of commercial products and periodicals using sheetfed and coldset web presses.
"The set-up times on the new folder are substantially reduced due to the presetting technology," said TH Brickell managing director Peter Smith. He added: "We are heading towards full JDF presetting, which we see as the way forward because of the efficiency gains."
This year the firm fitted a Technotrans ink-line cartridge system on its Heidelberg CD 74 press, alongside a Prinect Interface, which sends data between the pre-press and press departments.
