Temprint and Cornwall Lithographic Print, both based in Redruth, will now go under the name Pryntya.
Temprint managing director Alan Sperring will also head Cornwall Litho and parent company Pryntya. Peter Crago, former managing director of Cornwall Litho, is a non-executive director on the Pryntya board and will be joined by two more directors yet to be appointed.
The companies have a combined projected turnover of 4.8m for 2002 and a target 10% increase for next year. Each employs 38 staff.
But there are no immediate plans to consolidate the businesses, and both will remain on their current sites. According to Sperring, it would make sense in the future, but we have just moved. There will be no job losses in the foreseeable future, but Ill be looking at both businesses in due course.
