Last week, Express Newspapers triggered the change of ownership clause giving it the right to buy the Telegraphs 50% share in the jointly owned newspaper plant West Ferry Printers.
Telegraph Group editorial director Kim Fletcher said: In terms of West Ferry there has been no change in control things are as they were.
The probability of Barclay Brothers proposal to buy the Telegraph Group will be known in the coming days when the Delaware Court of Chancery rules on whether the Telegraphs parent Hollinger could alter the firm bylaws of subsidiary Hollinger International over the sale (PrintWeek, 12 February).
