Tangent appoints new CFO

Tangent has appointed a new chief financial officer as Kevin Cameron, currently financial director, returns to Newcastle to head up the group's print operation.

Jamie Beaumont will join Tangent as chief financial officer on 16 March. He has previously worked at LSL Property Services prior to which he spent three years as CFO of furniture specialist David Phillips.

He is set to take over from Cameron, who has been appointed managing director of Tangent's Newcastle print production facility after five years as group finance director.

Tangent chief executive Timothy Green said: "Jamie brings a fresh dynamic to the executive team and will work from the London office. Kevin moves to his new role, focused on overseeing the rationalisation of our print operations.

"We'd like to thank Kevin for his contribution to the company to date and have every confidence that his existing knowledge of the company's print operations will ensure a smooth transition."

Nick Green, Printed.com founder and Tangent director, added: "Looking forward we expect print to grow for Tangent and Kevin is the best person within the firm to lead our business in this space.

"He used to do this before and was excellent – this is a great opportunity for him and for us to bring in a new FD to help us get the business back growing."
