The financial management and accounting software company has released bluQube, which is designed to provide statistics on individual jobs indicating their profitability. According to the firm, it can also speed up invoicing.
"When you are managing multiple jobs, the whole process of creating quotes, let alone handling all the different costs involved, can be a major headache," said Symmetry managing director Simon Kearsley (pictured). "It may also highlight a defiency in the business that needs to be solved."
He added that the job costing tool can speed up invoicing because the "system automatically draws on standard production mark-ups".
"As the job progresses, anyone within the business can see what's happening with a particular job," said Kearsley. "It can even help with cash flow because you can see from reports when jobs are scheduled finish and ready for invoicing."
BluQube targets companies with turnovers ranging from 3m to 250m.
