Print-Solv Bio can blitz adhesives, glues, paints and resins and is safe to the environment, said brand manager Steven King.

The product came about after problems with sticky labels for fruit. Print-Solv Bio met standards for firms using adhesive labels as well as general print industry standards, explained King.

"Results from detailed work showed the product can be used in many settings as it can remove adhesives, glues, paints and resins.

"As a non-carcinogenic biodegradable solvent, Print-Solv Bio is seen as a welcome move away from harmful and flammable chemical products such as chlorinated solvents, which are often used," said King.
