Go Inspire Group has boosted its sustainability credentials with two new initiatives including a silver rating with EcoVadis.

The Leicester-headquartered business has also extended its World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Printer status to include Go Inspire Solutions.

Go Inspire’s Eclipse division became carbon balanced with World Land Trust earlier this year, with the group laying claim to being the largest commercial printer in the UK to achieve the certification.

Go Inspire Solutions specialises in data-driven direct mail and regulatory, transactional and critical mail.

The new EcoVadis business sustainability silver rating puts Go Inspire in the top 25% of all rated companies globally, the group said. The assessment involves 21 indicators across four key areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

Group CEO Patrick Headley said he was “exceptionally proud” of the two new ratings.

“Our teams across the business are dedicated to strengthening performance in this area and I am confident we can achieve our objective to continually improve our sustainability credentials, providing a beacon for others in the marketing industry,” he said.

Go Inspire’s ultimate aim is to become a net zero business. It also joined the Two Sides print and paper advocacy group in July

The group is at number 40 in Printweek’s annual Top 500 survey with sales of nearly £71.5m.
