Sunline Solutions upgrades finishing with Pars-Tec investment

Mailing specialist Sunline Solutions has added a range of finishing equipment from equipment supplier Pars-Tec.

The Redditch-based company has installed two new MBO 52s, alongside three refurbished B+H inserting lines in an investment worth around £125,000.

One of the folders has been installed with inline gluing, while the other features continuous feed capabilities.

According to sales director John Ellis, the new lines have increased folding capability at the company from around 3,000 sheets per hour to 20,000.

He said: "This investment is about continuing our growth. We have always had a bottleneck in the folders, we wanted to add a bit of efficiency to the department and have added a few extra options as well."

Sunline Solutions is one arm of parent company Sunline Direct Mail, which also has a polywrapping site at Loughborough.

The division employs around 40 staff and has a turnover of £3m, while its parent group has a turnover of £8m and employs 160 staff.
