IlloSpear will offer a clear-label range, including pressure-sensitive film labels and its TactiPhane and Illoclear range for wet-glue applications.
Its clear label solution means they can be easily removed and the bottle returned and reused.
Spear marketing manager Matt Davies said the companies had each been developing the technology for the last two years, enabling the products to be brought to market quicker.
The company is likely to be based out of Spears Cwmbran site, but production will be spread across all facilities, including Illochromas sites in Germany, France, Belgium, Italy and Poland, depending on printing requirements.
The Cwmbran site has screen and flexo presses, while Illochroma specialises in gravure and offset.
This is something the beer industry will welcome. Weve had some very promising feedback, especially from customers were already working with, added Davies.
IlloSpear will officially launch at the Brau beer processing exhibition in Nuremberg from 12-14 November.
