Spandex gains fire resistant badge for ImagePerfect Signage film range

Consumables supplier Spandex has announced that its entire ImagePerfect Signage range and the majority of its ImagePerfect Digital series now carry fire-resistance certificates.

The rating was gained after applying a highly-engineered top coat to the material, which ensures the products adhere to fire safety regulations in public areas.

ImagePerfect Signage materials featured in the range include IP5700, IP5700T and IP3500. In addition, the company’s five decorative window films and board films, including clearboard are also rated.

Products featured from the supplier's ImagePerfect Digital range include IP2503, IP2515, IP2516 and the IP2309 textile banner stock.

Roland Keller, executive product director at Spandex, said: "Only products with the relevant level of fire-resistance rating can be used in certain environments such as interior exhibition stands and interior application at airports.

"This makes having the adequate fire retardancy certificates such an important feature."
