Del Simmons will join KSP Group next month as the business maps out a leadership transition.

Banbury-based KSP specialises in bespoke luxury packaging and custom-made ring binders. The firm offers screen and digital printing as part of its in-house services, alongside foil blocking.

Kevin Woodcock, who established the business in 1985, becomes founder and executive chair, and will continue to be active in the firm’s strategic plans and growth strategy.

Simmons formally leaves Dayfold this month and will take up his new role as KSP managing director in June.

KSP described the appointment as “a major milestone for the company” and hailed the combination of Woodcock’s established know-how and Simmons’ “fresh energy and insight”.

Simmons has also become a shareholder in the company “reflecting his commitment and confidence in our future”.

Woodcock said: “We’re obviously thrilled that Del is joining us. He has a great reputation in the industry and he’s full of integrity.

“I think he’s a great fit to the business and our objectives aligned.”

Woodcock and Simmons have known each other for a number of years, as KSP had worked with Dayfold on longer-run box making projects.

KSP’s setup includes an array of specialist equipment for automated rigid box production, alongside Prima and Atma screen printing presses and a Jetrix wide-format inkjet device.
