Sericol boosts demo facility

Fujifilm Sericol has invested 200,000 in the demo facilities at its European headquarters and unveiled a raft of changes in its international board.

The firm installed an Inca Spyder 320 flatbed digital press, launched at Fespa earlier this year, at its base in Broadstairs, Kent.

The 50m sq per hour 3.2x1.6m format press, designed to appeal to screen printers, will be used in live demos using  customers' files and substrate types.

The firm has also announced that Pete Kenehan will become its regional director for Europe after spearheading Sericol's growth in digital over the past five years.

Rob Fassam becomes international technology director while strategy and business development director  Jerry Avis adds OEM development in commercialisation of digital inks, including Uvijet UV curing inks, to his remit.
