The Innovation Advisory Service (IAS), to be launched next month by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), is a programme aimed at companies that want to stay ahead of technological developments within their sector.
Recently awarded 2.5m in funding, the programme offers businesses with more than 30 employees 10 days of free advice on how to apply for funding, secure new business opportunities, investigate new technologies and access to the latest research.
SEEDA chairman Jim Brathwaite said businesses would have access to the best advice from world-class universities and research centres.
Firms that take part in the IAS will learn about technology assessment, innovation marketing, corporate venturing and project management.
The service will launch on 4 April.
