It has launched the initiative in conjunction with several major names in the finance industry and the kit comes from both these and Exel.
Exel Graphic Services sales director Tim Pawley said: Theres definitely demand out there for machines, this is just a way of provoking that demand without the long-term commitment.
The service primarily offers used Heidelberg presses, Exels speciality, and a selection of other presses and finishing equipment.
Once all of the usual checks have been done, all you need is one months payment in advance to get up and running, said Pawley.
Exel has been trading in the secondhand sector for more than 12 years and has rented presses on an ad hoc basis for over two years.
