Specialist auctioneer King Sturge is selling the press by private treaty on behalf of its owner, Yorkshire Bank.
The ten-colour Lithrone 540SP is just over two years old, and was installed at Lancashire-based CP3i in March 2003. It is equipped with fully automatic plate changing and Komori's KMS IV and KHS control systems. The list price of a new model would be in excess of 2m.
"We are open to offers and have had a lot of interest in it from the UK and abroad," said King Sturge partner Spencer Chapman.
Certain CP3i assets were bought by a management team after the firm went into administration in April.
