Demand for books on Islam since Septembers terrorist attacks is forcing up print runs of books on the faith.

Oxford University Press said orders had increased 10-fold for The Koran: A Very Short Introduction.

"We normally sell around 150 a month, but since 11 September this has risen to 1,500," said George Miller, editorial director for trade business.
