The White Dove Press and The House of Questa have picked up contracts to print the Royal Mails latest stamp collection, which pays tribute to the Royal Navys Submarine Service.
White Dove Press printed the presentation pack, while House of Questa printed the first day cover and filler card.
White Dove Press has also invested 1.8m in two new six-colour Komori presses. The 640EH with anilox coater is up and running while the 628EH is due to be installed next week.
Southend-based White Dove won the Royal Mails overall Supplier of the Year award in 1999. It spent 400,000 on pre-press kit last year including a Scitex Lotem 800V CTP system.
The latest installations and the departure of a five-unit Heidelberg Speedmaster make White Dove an all-Komori house.
Managing director George Pryde said the firm planned to up sales from 6m to 8m next year with the aid of the presses.
