The dtec and HP branded cartridges can be mixed and matched and also used to print existing ICC profiles, so that no downtime is needed to adjust settings.

There are six colour cartridges and "plug 'n' play" customers will have the facility to replace individual cartridges instead of replacing all six together.

The extended gamut of colours that are in the cartridges are cyan, magenta, yellow, black, light cyan and light magenta.
