The Cheltenham firm is due to take delivery of the press in late summer. It will replacea two-colour Quickmaster 46 for full-colour medium to longer runs up 5,000.
We have moved away from walk-in trade to higher-quality work from a range of buyers, said managing director Jeff Thorogood. We expect our turnover to double to 1m in the first year.
The spend, just shy of 400,000, included a Heidelberg Prosetter visible-light platesetter and a bundled plates and inks deal.
Rapid-Print specified the press with auto-blanket and ink-roller wash ups, Easyplate plate changing and Classic Console. Our investment will answer customers needs with fast set-up and running speeds and high quality," said Thorogood.
