PrintWeeks Jo Francis joining PR company AD

PrintWeeks much-loved and highly respected editor at large Jo Francis is leaving to pursue a new career in public relations.

After 11 years of service Francis leaves this week to become a director of graphic arts media agency AD Communications.

"Jo's great talent and personality was evident from the day she arrived. She has been instrumental in making PrintWeek the
market-leading title it is today and we are sincerely grateful to her," said Haymarket Business Publications chairman Martin Durham.

Francis, whose career began at the Boots print inplant, is a popular and respected industry figure. "Her tongue is firmly in her cheek but she's not afraid to hit stories full on and she's gained massive respect from that," said Polestar marketing director, UK print, James Povey.
