Printpack Bury plant hit by fire
A fire at Printpack Europes factory in Bury was caused by a fault on a press, according to the Greater Manchester Fire Service.
The alarm was raised at just after 9pm last Friday (14 November). Printpack is still assessing the damage to the press, but the fire brigade said it was 30% damaged by fire and a further 10% damaged by heat. There was no disruption to business, said the firm.
