Printable textile firm Heytex bought in PE-backed MBO

Heytex Bramsche (Heytex), the producer of printable textiles for large format printing has been sold to a management buyout backed by German private equity firm Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG).

Former owner Nord Holding retains a minority stake.

"With DBAG we have a financially sound investor that is convinced of the long-term growth of Heytex in the field of technical textiles and print media," said Heytex chief executive Heribert Decher.

The firm’s range of printable materials include the Heytex range of PVC-coated polyester frontlit, backlit, banner, mesh and truck side curtains and the Heyblue Digitex and Digiline ranges of PVC-free printable media.
