Elgie, 53, died on 16 March after a heart attack. His career in print and publishing spanned 30 years, starting at Haymarket Publishing, before working on the groups medical titles in the US.
On his return to the UK he worked as a print buyer for Timothy Benn Publishing, before becoming a consultant.
He worked with suppliers such as Lynhurst Press, Wyndeham Press Group, Denmaur Paper and publishers including the BBC, Centaur, Citrus, EMAP and Caspian.
