A raft of new print and design tenders are currently up for grabs via the government’s Contracts Finder service.

Ansa Environmental Services, which provides several councils with waste collections, disposal, street cleansing, and fleet management services among others, requires a single contractor to provide goods and services associated with design and print management.

Worth £500,000, the closing date is 11 November 2022 at 12pm, with the contract due to start on 5 December 2022 and end on 4 December 2025.

Portsmouth City Council, meanwhile, is inviting tenders “from suitably qualified suppliers” to provide election print materials for any election or referendum occurring during the contract period.

This includes the printing and mailing of polling letters, the printing of postal voting packs, and the printing of ballot papers.

“The materials are to be provided in respect of any election or referendum held within the Portsmouth City Council local authority area,” the council said.

“Portsmouth City Council has an electorate of approximately 150,000 across two parliamentary constituencies and 14 City Council wards.”

The initial contract term will be for three years, with the possibility of extending the term by a further four years to a maximum total term of seven years in increments to be agreed, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties.

The estimated value of the contract is £250,000 over the initial three year period.

The closing date is 23 November 2022 at 2pm, and the contract will start on 16 January 2023 and end on 9 January 2026.

Wirral Borough Council is out to tender for the printing and fulfilment of its Floral Pavilion Season Guide.

This tender, which is worth £150,000, is closing on 17 November 2022 at 12pm, with the contract starting on 2 January 2023 and ending on 1 January 2026.

Finally, the National Army Museum wants to appoint a graphics company to print and install the graphic elements of a new permanent gallery entitled Conflict in Europe.

This new gallery at the Chelsea museum will tell the story of the large European wars, from the Napoleonic period onwards.

The graphics remit comprises object labels, text panels, and large scale wallpaper imagery.

It also includes facsimiles of some paper items, provision of samples and installation on site.

Worth £25,000 to £30,000, the closing date is 31 October 2022 at 10am, with the contract starting on 1 November 2022 and ending on 20 January 2023.
