Dornier company Pressequip has been placed into voluntary liquidation with insolvency practitioner Smith & Williamson by its management.
The Buckingham-based company was formerly known as Dornier Printing Machinery and prior to that Pressequip. Its directors are listed as James and Catherine Gunn.
A spokeswoman for Smith & Williamson confirmed that the company was in liquidation, but refused to disclose any specific details of its downfall.
However, as PrintWeek went to press the trading position of the company was unclear. The phones were being answered as Dornier, but the receptionist was unclear about the firm she was representing.
Dornier Buckingham, which operates from the same address and has James Gunn as its principal shareholder and director, is unaffected by the liquidation, but has been dormant since 1999.
Pressequip has not supplied a full profit and loss account since 31 October 1997. Dornier supplies used Heidelberg equipment.
