Power 100 gathers the greats

The countdown to PrintWeeks best-read feature, the Power 100, has begun and several of those candidates known to have made the list assembled at Stationers Hall last week for a special photoshoot.

About 30 of the most influential individuals from all sectors of the industry such as printers, buyers, financers, suppliers and association heads attended a dedicated day of photography on 26 May at the historic City-based home of the Stationers' and Newspaper Makers' company.

"This is the first time we've attempted a photoshoot on this scale and we weren't sure how it would go. But it was a complete success. The results are stunning and I can't wait to see them in print," said PrintWeek editor Lauretta Roberts.

"It really was a privilege for us to be able to assemble such a distinguished group all in one place at the same time and in such a beautiful setting too," Roberts added.

Voting for the Power 100, which will be published on 24 June, continues at www.printweek.com until the close of play tomorrow (4 June). So there is still time to nominate your favourite candidates and to be in with a chance to win an Apple iPod courtesy of Turning Point Technologies.
