Waddies has completed the acquisition of Polton Press two months after it was first mooted.
The Lasswade-based printer will house Waddies Marketing Services and will focus on providing print for marketing and design agencies where there is demand for short runs and highly-personalised direct mail.
All 35 staff will be retained and former Polton Press managing director Mike Gorman will remain in charge of the site.
Waddies chairman Iain MacRitchie described Polton Press as an "exceptional fit". The firm went into receivership in March.
Waddies main site at Livingston, which it moved into last year, will continue to focus on the groups large corporate customers such as Standard Life and Royal Bank of Scotland.
Polton Press had sales of 2.6m for the year to 31 October 2000 and its kit includes an Oc CS200 digital production press.
