Uncertainty over Polestars financial situation benefited both St Ives and Wyndeham last week, as the City marked up their shares.
St Ives share price rose by more than 7% to 423.5p. Wyndeham, which has seen its share price fall dramatically this year after two profits warning, increased by 5% to 106p.
However, a City insider described it as a fairly simplistic reaction.
