It is extending its product range to offer personalised greeting cards, calendars, photo-booklets and album pages thanks to the installation of an Indigo Platinum digital colour press and its newly developed Connectivity technology.
Pixology currently offers 6x4in photographic prints through retail partners including BT, Dixons and Jessops.
Through Connectivity consumers will be able to create and order double-sided and multi-image products such as album pages with captions from their own homes.
"Up until now glossy photos have been the main part of our service, but we aim to complement that by letting people choose their own images and captions," said Pixology chief executive Yuval Yashiv.
He added: "Platinum technology provides opportunities to create double-sided novelty products in a way that single-sided photographic prints produced from light-sensitive paper cant. Well be offering the service to all our partners including Argos, Comet and Staples."
