Shuttleworth's joint managing director Andrew King said the Kettering-based company had joined the suppliers' association to take advantage of the training grants available.
Other new members include Staffordshire-based Inotech Systems, which specialises in the design and manufacture of technology systems for the security printing industry.
Picon's finishing membership has been expanded with the addition of two new members, Morgana Systems and HHS Gluing Systems.
Laidler Associates Consulting Service, a health and safety advice company, has joined the ranks of the British Paper Machinery Suppliers, a division of Picon.
Picon's membership now totals 140 companies.
