The PCC, which provides care for printers and their dependents, needs to raise the funds to cover the costs of running its nursing home and two sheltered housing developments.
It is looking for companies and organisations willing to pay a nominal 100 annual membership fee, and provide a contact name of a director who can get involved with raising additional funds.
PCC treasurer Robert Cole said: "We are continuing to reduce operating costs wherever possible. But if we are to maintain our high standard of care then we have to work hard to get extra support from the industry."
