Pafra takes WH Leary name

Carton gluing and quality assurance firm Pafra Systems has changed to its US parents name, WH Leary, as part of the groups global expansion plan.

Europe, in particular France Germany and the Netherlands, is the first part of a selective expansion strategy.

Bryce Anderson, who was appointed European business manager in April, has been briefed by Leary president Kevin Leary to take the firm global, handling all territories outside the Americas and Canada. Part of those plans will also include the Far East and Australasia.

"With the technical expertise now installed to ensure the best possible support service, we are now confident that we are in a position, as the first part of our expansion plans, to promote the full range of Leary technologies in selected western European countries," said Anderson.

WH Leary bought Basildon-based Pafra Systems in 2000.
